The Metropolitan Corporate Academy (475 State Street) is located in the Downtown/Boerum Hill section of Brooklyn on State Street. Filling the blocks of Schermerhorn Street and Third Avenue.  It is about a block off of Flatbush Avenue.  Most of NYC's subway lines and the Long Island Rail Road stop within two blocks of the Academy.  It is about a mile and a half from the Brooklyn Bridge, the Manhattan Bridge and the BQE - Brooklyn Queens Expressway.

Note:  The Academy building is handicap accessible.  The handicap ramp and entrance is on the State Street side of the building.

Atlantic Avenue: Q, 2, 3, 4, 5                Hoyt-Schermerhorn:  A, C, G

LONG ISLAND RAIL ROAD Take the LIRR to the Flatbush Avenue Terminal (Atlantic Avenue subway stop).

WALKING DIRECTIONS FROM THE SUBWAY AND LIRR:

From the Atlantic Avenue subway stop and the LIRR station:  Follow exit signs that read "Hanson Place, Flatbush Avenue, LIRR, BAM."  Reaching the street, turn right, the clock tower (Williamsburg Savings Bank) will be on your immediate right.  With it at your back, cross the large intersection (Flatbush Ave.) heading toward the Radio Shack store.  Go right, past the HSBC bank to State Street.  The Academy entrance is on the corner of State & Third Avenue.

From the Pacific Street subway stop:  Look for the clock tower (Williamsburg Savings Bank).  Walk towards it.  When you reach the light on Atlantic Avenue, turn left and walk a block to Third Ave. Turn right on Third Avenue and walk one block to State Street. The Academy entrance is on the corner of Third Avenue & State Street.

From the Nevins Street subway stop:  Look for the clock tower and walk towards it down Flatbush for one and a half blocks.  Turn right onto Third Avenue.  Go about a block to State Street.  The Academy entrance is on the corner of State Street & Third Avenue.

From the Hoyt-Schermerhorn subway stop:  At the station, take the Bond Street exit.  Look for the clock tower and walk towards it 2 blocks to Third Avenue.  Go right on Third a block to State St.  The Academy entrance is on the corner of State Street & Third Avenue.
